The Supreme Court has vacated a ruling that declared it unconstitutional for Donald Trump to block followers on Twitter.
In 2019, an Appeals Court ruled that then-President Trump's Twitter account was a 'public forum' and blocking users for criticizing him violated their First Amendment rights.
However, now that Trump is no longer president, the ruling no longer applies - leading the Supreme Court to vacate the lower-court ruling.
Twitter permanently banned Trump's account earlier this year. The former President has indicated that he plans to launch a new social media platform sometime this year.
