With The Big Apple the current epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the US, Rhode Island has taken an extreme step to keep residents safe.

National Guard members have been going door to door looking for anyone who has come from The Empire State and police have been taking down the information of drivers with New York plates.

In instituting the policy, Gov. Gina Raimondo declared, "I want to be crystal clear about this: If you're coming to Rhode Island from New York you are ordered into quarantine."

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called the move the "point of absurdity," and has threatened a lawsuit, but believes they could first try to "work it out."
