Meet Sweet Franny...
Senior pets are wonderful, and there’s definitely a demand for them. We enjoy matching senior citizens with senior pets whenever we can. Their energy levels are similar, and the therapeutic benefits for a senior are significant. Animals provide purpose, and nothing energizes a senior citizen faster than having a reason to get up in the morning—to care for someone or to go for a walk.
These pets often have a calmer demeanor, require less training, have a predictable personality, and make the smoothest transitions when adopted. They are the best constant companions! What you see is what you get—no surprises!
Franny came into Summit County Animal Control from the Stow area. Thought to be between eight and nine years old, she finds the shelter environment confusing. After all, this girl was used to a house with a couch. Franny has been estimated to be a Lab/Shepherd mix. We think she’s a Heinz 57— the best kind! Weighing 55 pounds, she’s considered medium-sized.
Who’s out there looking for the perfect senior dog? Fran’s résumé will not disappoint. Don’t wait—give this loving dog her forever home today.
