Pay It Forward For Pets - China

Abandonment is to cease to fulfill a commitment, to leave a being with no intent to return, or to discard as no longer useful or desirable.

China didn’t live this fate once, but twice. Found tied to a post, young China was abandoned by her pet-parent. Fully vetted and full of hope, China was adopted by a new family. Many months later, again, China was found tied up outside of a shelter. This time, China tested positive for Heartworm disease.

China is a 3-year-old, Chihuahua-Jack Russell mix-breed girl and weighs 25 pounds. Kind and loving, it’s unknown why she has endured this fate. This sweet gal has been treated for Heartworm and will need a quiet life, in a quiet home, to recuperate. She will also need a committed pet-parent who will value her life for the rest of her days.

At 3 years of age, China has a lot of living to do. Can she do it with you? Will three times be China’s charm?
