A preliminary report into last week's crash of a single-engine airplane into an Akron home is expected in the next ten days.

A flight instructor and the aircraft's pilot-owner were found dead inside the airplane after it hit a home on Canterbury Circle this past Thursday.

No one from inside the home was hurt.

The FAA says it could be 12 to 24 months before a complete report on the incident is released.
