The prosecutors pursuing charges against two police officers in the death of Frank Tyson want to step down from the case.

Tyson died while in custody in April of last year, and his death was later ruled a homicide.

A grand jury indicted Canton Police Officers Beau Schoenegge and Camden Burch on charges of reckless homicide.

County prosecutor Kyle Stone is now requesting that a special prosecutor be appointed, but the court has yet to make a ruling on that request.
