Full SNAP payments are now going out to recipients across Ohio.

Yesterday, the state Department of Job and Family Services announced food assistance benefits were being distributed following the end of the federal government shutdown.

Officials say that those who have already received partial payments will receive the remainder of their November payout, but an exact date has not been announced.

Recipients can check their balances using the ConnectEBT app or the Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal.
