The voters have had their say.
According to unofficial results, voters on Tuesday approved Issue 2, a charter amendment to protect residents from sudden property tax increases due to rising home values.
Voters also approved a levy renewal and increase for the Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board.
In the Akron Public Schools Board of Education race, Gregory Harrison, Phil Montgomery, Karmaya Kelly, and Nathan Jarosz are the apparent winners.
Democrat Fran Wilson will represent Ward 1 on the Akron City Council.
