Authorities are confirming the discovery of the body of Ryan Godbey.
The 26-year-old was last seen alive at a Canton LGBTQ+ nightclub on June 19th.
Prosecutors say Daniel Mattay, who lived with Godbey, beat and strangled the victim. Mattay has been indicted on charges including murder.
DNA evidence confirms a body found by officers in a wooded area of southern Stark County in July is that of Godbey.
