Suspect Commits Suicide As U.S. Marshals Attempt To Serve Warrant

Canton Police say a man took his own life Tuesday as U.S. Marshals were trying to serve him with a warrant.

Fifty-two-year-old Thomas Kelly was a registered sex offender who authorities say had failed to register his address with local authorities.

As marshals attempted to serve a warrant yesterday, Kelly reportedly shot himself.

An investigation of the incident is underway.
