Police in Dover are investigating a swatting hoax.
A 911 call on Wednesday evening claimed multiple people were injured in a Dover home.
Residents in the area were told to shelter in place as police responded.
When officers arrived, the person who lives alone at the home said they did not make any emergency calls, and police say the call didn't come from that person's phone number.
The shelter-in-place order was lifted when police ruled the incident a swatting hoax.
