Dates Announced For Ohio Sales Tax Holiday

The dates for Ohio's 2025 Sales Tax Holiday have been announced.

The extended event will run from August 1st through 14th.

Governor Mike DeWine says the timing of this year's sales tax holiday not only supports families preparing for back-to-school, but also provides relief on other important household needs.

Tax breaks will apply to virtually all tangible personal property goods priced at $500 and below.

Alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana products are excluded, as are motor vehicles.
