The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting a significant year-over-year drop in roadway fatalities for the long Memorial Day weekend.

OSHP says 12 people died in a total of eleven crashes across the state between May 23rd and 26th.

That is compared to the 26 fatalities that were reported over Memorial Day weekend in 2024.

Troopers also made over 400 OVI arrests this past weekend.
