Plans are being made for Dr. Michael Robinson to exit his post as the superintendent of Akron Public Schools.
The school board placed Robinson on paid leave earlier this month after hearing the results of a months-long investigation into the superintendent.
According to the report, Robinson -- on multiple occasions -- bullied district staffers with regular threats of termination and the use of language berating them in public and in private.
Council approved a measure on Monday that will pay Robinson $200,000 to resign less than two years into his five-year contract.
Interim Superintendent Mary Outley will become the permanent superintendent of Akron Public Schools.
