Multiple warming centers are open across Summit County in response to the sharp temperature decline in the next few days.
The Summit Lake Community Center will remain open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, offering a respite from the bitter cold.
Meanwhile, the emergency overnight shelter at 111 East Voris Street will remain open from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Other shelters are available in Tallmadge, Barberton, and Norton, where the fire department has converted its training room into a warming shelter.
