An Akron man who lost consciousness during a Portage County traffic stop is facing drug charges.
The Portage County Sheriff's Office reports the 37-year-old suspect was stopped for traffic violations Sunday morning and was taken into custody after it was learned that an arrest warrant was out for him.
The suspect then told the officer that he had ingested fentanyl and passed out.
Officers administered ten doses of Narcan to bring the man around.
He has since been charged with a list of offenses.
