The teen killed by an Akron Police officer on Thanksgiving night has been identified.
It happened around 11 p.m. last Thursday near Vernon Odom Boulevard and East Avenue.
Akron Police say 15-year-old Jazmir Tucker of Maple Heights had a loaded gun when officers responded to shots fired in the Sherbondy Hill neighborhood.
Two officers involved are on leave despite only one of them having allegedly fired his service weapon.
