The union representing Akron teachers has filed a charge of unfair labor practices with the State Employment Relations Board.

The Akron Education Association says the administration of Akron Public Schools Superintendent Michael Robinson has been dealing directly with union members on issues that the union is supposed to be involved in.

They also say that Robinson's team has been filling jobs meant for union workers with non-union labor.

This marks the third time this year that the union has filed an unfair labor practice charge against the district.
