Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski has removed a recent post from his Facebook page that had stirred up controversy.

Zuchowski's post had advised people to write down the addresses of people who have Kamala Harris signs in their yards so that officials will know where to send undocumented immigrants who he referred to as human locusts.

The sheriff later posted that he has a First Amendment right as do all citizens and that his earlier post may have been slightly misinterpreted.

Observers reported yesterday that the controversial post had been removed and now the Facebook page appears inaccessible to the public.
