A Canton mother is asking those responsible for the theft of her son's specialized wheelchair to give it back.
The woman's nine-year-old son has spina bifida and relies on the custom-made four-thousand dollar chair to get around.
It was stolen from the front porch of the family's 11th Street Southwest home earlier this week.
The family's health benefits allow the boy to purchase a new chair every five years and, under their coverage, he will not be able to get a new one until next year.
