Stark State College will soon be launching a program to train future electric vehicle technicians.

The college says an estimated 12,000 E.V. jobs will be created in Northeast Ohio in the next six years.

The school has received a grant of more than $600,000 from the U.S. National Science Foundation to develop the training program.
