With high temperatures forecasted to be in the area of 90 degrees for the next few days, the City of Akron is providing local community centers as a place for folks to escape the heat.
The Ellet, Firestone Park, Joy Park, Kenmore, Lawton Street, Mason Park, Summit Lake, and Northwest Family Recreation Centers are all available at varying hours this week.
Folks are encouraged to check with their nearest community center for specifics.
