Canton Police say they are looking into a weekend incident involving one of their officers.
A video shared on social media over the weekend shows the officer kicking a male suspect who was kneeling on the ground with his hands up.
In a released statement, Police Chief John Gabbard says that officers using force outside the parameters of the department's training, policy and principles will be held accountable.
