A Rubber City pooch has local first responders to thank for its rescue on Monday.
A pair of Akron firefighters from Station 4 were made aware of a dog that had somehow managed to get itself trapped outside on a porch roof.
The duo went to the scene and safely brought the dog down to the ground and the waiting arms of its owner.
