Apple Juice Sold At Ohio Walmarts Subject To Recall

A brand of apple juice sold by Walmart is the subject of a product recall.

Select packages of eight-ounce bottles of Great Value apple juice, sold in six-pack plastic bottles, are being recalled due to what is described as an elevated level of inorganic arsenic.

The specific UPC Code and 'best if used by date' of the affected product can be found on the FDA's website. The FDA says that 9,500 impacted cases were sold at Walmart stores in 25 states including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Walmart operates more than 140 stores in the Buckeye State including many in Northeast Ohio.
