A long list of charges has been filed against a man arrested in Stark County Wednesday morning while he was traveling on a riding lawnmower.
Police tried to execute a traffic stop on the lawnmower rider in Perry Township but say that suspect William Wackerly sped off.
A police pursuit was abandoned in the interest of public safety but Wackerly was later located and taken into custody.
He is facing charges that include felonious assault, resisting arrest, driving under a suspension, failure to comply with an officer's order, and criminal trespass.
