(Akron) The Akron Police Department and the City's Mayor Shammas Malik have announced a development in the investigation into the June 2nd mass shooting on the city's east side that killed one person and injured 27 others.
A photo of a suspect vehicle has been released. Police say that based on interviews of numerous people who were at the party that night, as well as analyzing evidence and reviewing tips, investigators believe the vehicle may have been involved in the shooting.
The vehicle appears to be a white SUV with dark tinted windows. Police believe the vehicle traveled south on Kelly Avenue immediately following the shooting.
