The City of Akron is giving away free Ring Doorbell cameras.
The city says it's giving away 3,000 cameras to make the city safer, as the cameras will allow for residents to voluntarily turn over footage of suspicious or criminal activity to police.
Funding for the cameras comes from the American Rescue Plan Act.
