Akron Public Schools will soon offer all-day pre-kindergarten classes.
Superintendent Michael Robison announced on Monday and said half-day pre-kindergarten classes will be offered as needed, but the district is planning to switch to full-day classes beginning in the fall.
Robinson says enrollment for pre-k could begin as early as this week.
Currently, there are 700 students enrolled in pre-k across the district.
