Akron police are investigating the Friday robbery of a local McDonald's restaurant.
An employee of East Waterloo Road McDonald's says that someone came up to their counter at around 12:30 a.m., aimed a gun at them, and demanded cash.
Police say the suspect had hidden in the restroom and came out to commit their crime only after the store had closed.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with additional information on the robbery is asked to call police.
