The Akron Citizens' Police Oversight Board has a vacancy to fill after one member unexpectedly resigned.
Reverend Diane Lewis cited personal reasons for her resignation in a letter sent to other board members back on January 10th.
Lewis was one of six board members appointed by Akron City Council who will now name her replacement.
Former Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan named the remaining three members.
