2Pac is being honored in Oakland, California with a street named in his honor.
The Oakland City Council will vote on renaming a portion of a road to "Tupac Shakur Way."
The resolution for the street name change reads "Tupac Shakur's legacy will continue through his contributions in art and social outreach, thorugh his family and fans, touching countless lives of children and elders over the years."
This isn't the first time Oakland has honored the rapper, as in 2016 the city declared June 16 "Tupac Shakur Day."
