Kevin Costner is reportedly trying to win back Christine Baumgartner, following her filing for divorce. The couple's 18-year marriage apparently ended due to Kevin's demanding work schedule and Christine's desire for him to spend more time at home. While Kevin was taken by surprise by the divorce filing, he is determined to reconcile and save their relationship.
“Everyone thought Kevin and his wife were super happy so it’s all surprising. He truly loves her and is trying to get her back. He’s been blindsided by this,” an insider tells “The Daily Mail.” They have three children together, and Kevin is seeking joint custody if the divorce goes through. The couple, who had a prenuptial agreement, is set to attend a hearing for their divorce case in July.
Kevin Costner's busy career, including his hit show “Yellowstone” and upcoming projects like “Horizon,” reportedly caused a strain in his marriage as he prioritized work over family. Christine is said to have expressed her unhappiness and reportedly gave him an ultimatum to quit Yellowstone, leading to their divorce.
