Iconic “Back To The Future” star Michael J. Fox has been very open about his struggles with his long-term battle with Parkinson’s Disease over the years. But, recently, the actor admitted that the fight is taking its toll.
“I’m not gonna lie, it’s getting harder,” revealed Fox “It’s getting tougher. Every day gets tougher. But that’s the way it is. I mean, who do I see about that?” Fox confessed he’s had spinal surgery to remove a tumor, which affected his walking. And that, in turn, had an impact on his ability to walk without following- which Fox says is one of the big dangers for Parkinson’s sufferers.
“(It) is a big killer with Parkinson’s,” he explained. “Falling and aspirating food and getting pneumonia — all these subtle ways that get you. You don’t die from Parkinson’s; you die with Parkinson’s. So I’ve been thinking of the mortality of it. I’m not going to be 80. I’m not going to 80.” The documentary “Still: A Michael J. Fox Story” will debut on May 12th on AppleTV+.
