A “Fog” Of Bees Halts PGA Tour Play Briefly

Not every day, you see PGA tour golfers and their crew hit the ground in the middle of the green.

The PGA Mexico Open was this weekend and while Erik van Rooyen was about to hit his approach shot, a “fog” of bees descended on the green.

Many of the crew went to lay flat on the green as did some players. Van Rooyen just crouched down.

Everyone was a bit surprised, but luckily the bees left the area quickly and it appears no one was stung.
