Dog Gets Record For World's Shortest Living Dog At Just 3.59 Inches Tall

We now know where the shortest dog alive is…Orlando, Florida. Guinness World Records has certified a chihuahua named Pearl as the shortest living dog, standing at a height of 3.59 inches, and it runs in the family.

A previous holder of the record was Pearl’s mother’s sister, Miracle Milly, who stood 3.8 inches tall.

Neither is close to the all-time record, held by a dwarf Yorkshire terrier who was measured at 2.8 inches tall before his death in 1945.
