Akron's METRO RTA is launching a service for riders to plan and pay for trips through a single app.
Officials announced the Moovit app on Wednesday as part of its partnership with EZfare.
According to reports, the app incorporates EZfare ticketing along with showing bus lines and trip times.
After users can select their route, the app will calculate the total fare for the rider to purchase an e-ticket.
Moovit will display the digital ticket and a unique QR code, which can be shown to the bus driver or scanned when boarding.
Moovit is now available for free on Apple and Android devices.
