Cruise Into Summer: A Free Family Celebration to Kick Off a Fun and Safe Summer Season in Akron
Akron, OH – Tuesday, April 22 – School’s out and summer is in! Families across Akron are invited to Cruise into Summer, a free community event on Thursday, June 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Lock 3, celebrating the last day of school and the beginning of summer break.
Presented by Ron Marhofer, the City of Akron Fire and Police Departments, and Lock 3, this high-energy event is designed to bring families together for an evening of games, food, entertainment, and helpful information about summer resources for kids.
Made possible by generous contributions from local businesses, Cruise into Summer is more than just fun—it’s about building a strong, safe, and positive start to the summer season for the children and families of Akron.
