Comedian Roseanne Barr raised eyebrows this week when she suddenly slammed former presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, saying the doomed nominee neglected American workers and was only concerned with “Syrian airspace,” adding the country was “lucky” Donald Trump went on to win the White House.
In a recently published clip promoting her upcoming sitcom, the iconic comic unloaded on the former Secretary of State, saying “maybe” Americans cared about “Syrian airspace” but she certainly didn’t.
“He talked about jobs. That’s what you need to do if you want working people to vote for you. Not Syrian airspace,” Barr said. “I don’t think Hillary talked about jobs much. She was always just talking about Syrian airspace. Do you think people in America care? Maybe they do, I didn’t, though.”
“It’s great for comedy. We’re lucky to have him as a President, it’s great for comedy,” she added.
