Watch President Trump address the nation after the mass shooting that took place this week at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
“We comfort the grieving and the wounded and we hurt for the entire community in Parkland, Florida,” Trump said in his first appearance since suspected gunman Nikolas Cruz opened fire at the local high school; killing 17 and injuring many more.
“We are committed to working with state and local leaders to help secure our schools and tackle the difficult issue of mental health,” said the President.
