As in human life, every phase of a dog’s life brings new discoveries in personality, energy and temperament. Many pet owners prefer to adopt an older puppy, or an adult dog, as opposed to rearing an 8-week-old pesky pal. Each stage brings different involvement and excitement. We believe they’re all fun to experience and they’re all rewarding, too.
Allen is a wonderful example of an adult pup. Past the new puppy stage, and his terrible teens, Allen is now considered to be an adult dog and possesses a mature demeanor. Quiet in his kennel, he doesn’t react to the other orphans crossing his path. Easily walked, he’s sure to be a great exercise buddy and companion.
Unsure of his mix-breeds, Allen is on the larger side, weighing in at nearly 60 pounds. At, approximately 3 years of age, Allen plans on spending the rest of his life with a best friend. Might that best friend be you?
