Meet Petey. Petey is pure precious! Found on the streets, this tiny guy would not have fared well had he encountered a moving car. Containment is “key“ with all dogs to keep them healthy and safe. The streets are no place for our peeighing in at 10 pounds, Petey is a miniature, long-hair dachshund and is concerned in the shelter environment. Sweet beyond measure, it appears he likes other dogs. Guessed to be five years of age, this precious dog has a lot of living to do. We say to plan for 15 years and if you get that, you’re lucky! It’s obvious this boy was used to a house and a couch. More accurately, a lap and a snack. He just wants to go home. Might this five-year-old boy be going home with you?
