SALT LAKE CITY, UT--- In Donovan Mitchell's emotional return to Utah, the Cavs couldn't quite get it done, losing to the Jazz 116-114. Jarrett Allen would leave and not return to the game in the 2nd quarter due to illness.

In his return, Mitchell put on a show, scoring 46 points , 25 of those coming in the first half. Mitchell made 7 of his 18 3pters attempted and was a perfect 11/11 from the charity stripe. On top of all the emotion we would see history made, as Kevin Love passed Anderson Varejao for 6th on the all time Cavs rebound list pulling in 9 tonight. Lamar Stevens also had a decent night scoring 11 points off the bench being nearly perfect from FG range making 5 of his 6 shots. On the other side of the court, former Cavalier Jordan Clarkson exploded for 32 points, scoring 9 straight in the 4th quarter to help ice the game for the Jazz.

The Cavs will be back in action on Thursday night from Portland, Oregon to take on the Trailblazers, tip is set for 10pm. You can hear the game on 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, the free iHeartRadio app, or HERE
