A Columbus, Ohio man is the first person in the nation to be convicted under a federal law dealing with AI-generated pornography.

James Strahler the Second has admitted to using artificial intelligence models to generate inappropriate content of at least six women and sending those videos to the victims' co-workers.

Strahler also generated sexual videos using photos of minor boys, according to investigators.

He is being prosecuted under the Take It Down Act of 2025 and has pleaded guilty.

A sentencing date has not been announced so far.
