Suspect In Akron Bank Robbery Arrested

Armed robbers used the gun to robbery the money

Authorities say they have arrested one of two suspects involved in the recent robbery of an Akron bank.

According to reports, the suspects entered a PNC Bank Branch on East Wilbeth Road just before 2 p.m. on April 21st with one acting as a lookout and the other showing a firearm and threatening a security guard.

The suspects escaped the scene with about $8,000.

U.S. Marshals have arrested 35-year-old Darrell Moore on a charge of aggravated robbery.

The search for the other suspect continues.
