Cleveland Clinic Akron General will be conducting an active shooter drill today.
The drill will run from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the first floor of the hospital.
The public is being notified about the drill, because loud noises, an increase in law enforcement, actors portraying real patients, and actors carrying items that appear to be weapons are all expected.
