The Summit County Fair opens today with some COVID-19 safeguards in place.
Fair organizers say rides and vendors are set up to maximize social distances and hand sanitizing stations are highly visible.
The fair's start date falls ahead of Governor Mike DeWine's order that limits all county fairs that start after July 31st to junior fair activities only.
