Defendants In Highland Square Killing Plead Not Guilty

A second man charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Akron's Highland Square neighborhood has entered his plea.

Twenty-five-year-old Timothy Hutchinson of Wooster was found shot October 5th at a location on West Market Street and was later pronounced dead at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.

Police believe Hutchinson was unintentionally hit during an exchange of gunfire.

Twenty-three-year-old Emahni Thomas pleaded not guilty last week to charges including involuntary manslaughter and reckless homicide.

Twenty-four-year-old Deshawn Stafford appeared in court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to charges including murder.
