A Ravenna man is facing sentencing for defrauding the government of $1.2 million in COVID-19 relief funds.
Investigators report that tax preparer Mustafa Diab submitted false applications for COVID unemployment benefits using the names of several clients, then kept the funds for himself.
He has been sentenced to eleven years in prison.
