Ohio SNAP recipients are getting partial payments soon.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says money will be going out as soon as Tuesday.
Most program participants will receive less than 65 percent of the normal payment amount, according to officials.
The U.S. Senate has also approved a plan that would reopen the federal government, meaning full SNAP payments could go out at that time.
The United States House of Representatives also needs to pass that measure.
